Pride at Darden
Formerly "Gays, Lesbians and Allies at Darden" (GLAD) and before that "The Darden Gay Network," Pride at Darden (PAD) is a student club that is dedicated to promoting an inclusive, open and welcoming environment for LGBTQ students, educating and improving awareness of LGBTQ issues within Darden and the surrounding Charlottesville area, and facilitate networking with other LGBTQ communities, other business schools and with diversity-friendly employers.
PAD organizes social and educational events throughout the year, organizes diversity recruiting panels, partnering with the Darden community, other clubs (such as GWIB/DMA/DJSA/DCF and marketing clubs) and LGBTQ groups of the Law School, Medical School and other UVA graduate programs. Annual events include:
- Love is Love Month
- Reaching Out MBA Conference (ROMBA)
- ROMBA Leadership Summit
- PAD Cold Call/Game Night
We welcome prospective students to reach out to members of our leadership team to learn more about Pride at Darden.
