MBA - Culture and Community - Clubs and Organizations - Black Business Student Association

Black Business Student Association

BBSA logo with fist

Black Business Student Association (BBSA) is organized and focused on bringing together the past, resent, and future Darden African-American and African Diaspora communities. In that vein BBSA develops programs that promote academic excellence, provide safe environments for the discussion of issues around race and culture, support professional development, offer a forum for social activities, and opportunities for participation in community service. The club also communicates and supports relevant initiatives of key offices and organizations within the Darden Enterprise such as the Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Admissions.

Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or omissions.
