Experience a Day With Darden through immersive on-Grounds programming that offers a preview of student life, classes and community. Attendees can expect to spend time with current students, take a tour of Grounds, join in admissions and career conversations, participate in a financial aid session or presentation and enjoy social activities and meals with the Darden community. The August event features a Mock Case, in which attendees will participate in a case discussion led specifically for prospective students. Faculty will provide context and guidance, making it an interactive introduction to the case method.

Early Action applicants are invited to join Darden Admissions for a just-in-time Q&A session to answer your questions and provide final tips on completing your application before the 9 September deadline. Submit questions in advance to inform our conversation or bring them to the live session.

Join Darden Admissions and Professor Tracey Hoke for a faculty thought leadership webinar series for prospective and admitted Darden students. Dr. Hoke is trained as a Pediatrician and Pediatric Cardiologist, and she joined the University of Virginia in 2006 as the Chief Quality Officer for the UVA Children’s Hospital. She currently serves as the inaugrual Chair, Innovation in Healthcare Operations, for the UVA Health System. At Darden, she teaches two courses — Challenges in Healthcare and Solutions in Healthcare. During this session, Dr. Hoke will share her thoughts on the current state of healthcare in the U.S., the healthcare and biotech ecosystem in Charlottesville, her healthcare-focused electives and more.

Join us to learn how you can earn both the Darden MBA and the Johns Hopkins SAIS Master of Arts in just three years. Combined degree students begin in Darden’s Full-Time MBA program in Charlottesville, Virginia, and may complete the Johns Hopkins SAIS portion of the program at the school’s Washington, D.C., campus or across the Washington, D.C., and SAIS Europe campuses in Bologna, Italy.

Johns Hopkins University Assistant Director of Admissions Emma Holland, Darden Senior Associate Director of Global Recruitment Merav Frazier, and current combined degree candidate Sara Kellenberg will provide an overview of the program and answer your questions. Topics will include program structure and timeline, the student experience, admissions guidance for combined degree applicants, and more.

Gain an inside perspective on the MBA admissions process through The Consortium’s MBA Application Preparation Seminars (MAPS). These in-person events offer prospective applicants a unique opportunity to learn more about the application process, hear directly from admissions representatives about what member schools look for in competitive candidates while also learning from Consortium alumni who share candid
insight into what the MBA experience is truly like.
MAPS creates a space to address common questions and provide practical guidance for
navigating the Consortium application. Participants leave with a deeper understanding of
the MBA journey, valuable connections, and the knowledge needed to approach their
applications with confidence
