Meet the Team - Wendy Huber

Assistant Director of Admissions

Wendy is an Assistant Director of Admissions but do not let the title fool you. Wendy is a familiar face to many, as she worked with Darden from 1999 to 2019. Wendy originally joined Darden as an Admissions Counselor and for the next 13 years spent time in the roles of Admissions Counselor, Assistant Director of Admissions and Associate Director of Admissions. In 2012, Wendy transitioned to the role of Assistant Dean for the Full-Time MBA Program where she collaborated to provide strategic leadership for the MBA program development and delivery. Throughout the pandemic, Wendy held a variety of positions which allowed her to engage with students and the community. She spent time with UVA Athletics as an academic mentor, Loaves & Fishes food pantry as a project coordinator and warehouse assistant, and with Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a non-profit organization, where she reviewed application essays. Wendy’s love for Darden and the admissions team sparked her interest in returning to a full capacity role within the Admissions team. In her free time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs and is currently learning American Sign Language!
