Director of Admissions, Future Year Scholars Program

Katherine Alford (she/her/hers) is the Director of Admissions for the Future Year Scholars Program at the Darden School of Business. After graduating from the University of Virginia herself, she spent 3 years working in corporate America before returning to Charlottesville for her Masters in Education. Having found her passion in higher education, Katherine has now spent more than 12 years at Darden where she enjoys helping undergraduate students and professionals navigate the MBA application process and find meaningful careers in business. She lives in Arlington, VA, and when she isn’t working with Future Year Scholars, she is supporting the efforts of the D.C. based Darden team recruiting students to the working professional degree programs. In her free time she enjoys tennis, Pure Barre, entertaining and any opportunity to stare at the Gulf!
