Ed joined Darden’s Career Center 18 years ago after two years of working as Assistant Director of Career Center at McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin. He has a combination of corporate finance, investment banking, and sales and trading experience in financial services. He worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ)/ Credit Suisse in NY and at J.P. Morgan and Merrill Lynch in Asia working in mergers & acquisitions and currency trading. He holds an MBA in Accounting, Finance, and Managerial and Organizational Behavior from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and received his executive coaching certification from Georgetown University. Ed is responsible for advising students interested in careers in finance, investment banking, corporate finance, and sales and trading. Ed also advises in all aspects of job search and teaches the Second Year Coach elective course to Darden Second Year students.
