Career Coaches: Christy Gunville

 Managing Director, Cohort Recruiting

Christy is Managing Director of the Full-Time MBA program, overseeing cohort recruiting and serving as the consulting sector leader. In this capacity, she coaches our students on both consulting-specific and general career search and leadership development topics. Prior to joining Darden, Christy’s consulting career included senior leadership positions with global industry leaders such as Deloitte and two fast-growing boutique human capital consulting firms. During her tenure, she assisted commercial and public sector clients with strategic analysis, operational and financial transformation, human capital and organizational assessments, and leadership development across a wide variety of industries. In addition to her client service experience, Christy also led internal talent development initiatives in areas such as recruiting, performance management, learning and development, and succession planning. Christy holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from UVA and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She is also a certified professional coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) - credentialed at the Professional Certified Coach (ICF-PCC) level - and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
