
Rohit Singla

Rohit is a Senior Research Data Scientist at Darden. His research interest lies at the intersection of big data, high performance computing (HPC) and business research. He works on developing and publishing “novel” research databases and techniques that would help business school researchers in boosting their research productivity.
Prior to joining UVA Darden, he managed and directed the Research Computing Office of Ross School of Business at Michigan. In addition, he taught a course in financial research data management and computing to the PhD students.
He has also served as a Research Statistician at Carroll School of Management at Boston College, where he consulted faculty in engineering novel research data and conducting efficient computations.
Rohit holds a PhD in Applied Economics and Business Statistics from Texas Tech University. He has also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University in Montreal.
