Robert D. Landel Distinguished Professor of Business Administration Alan R. Beckenstein is the coordinator of Darden's Global Economies and Markets area. His research and teaching address antitrust and competition policy. He serves as a consultant to government agencies and international corporations. Before joining the Darden faculty in 1972, Beckenstein worked as a research associate at the Brookings Institution and as a management consultant.
