Batten Institute - Venture Capital Bootcamp

WHAT IS VENTURE CAPITAL BOOTCAMP? The Venture Capital Bootcamp is a workshop for students interested in pursuing opportunities in venture capital and entrepreneurship. The program focuses on providing students with a basic understanding of early-stage investing. The workshop highlights how venture capitalists respond to entrepreneurs who seek funding and assistance.

We focus on teaching the fundamental elements of:

• Due diligence
• Deal structures and terms
• Legal requirements
• Small business strategy and operations
• Exit strategies (from the perspective of a venture capital firm and entrepreneur)

WHO'S IT FOR? MBA and EMBA Darden students (preference given to First Year students), and School of Law students.
