About Darden - Events Calendar

Join Darden Admissions and fellow prospective students for a small group tour of Sands Family Grounds, UVA Darden's DC area grounds and the base location for our working professional programs – Executive MBA, Part-Time MBA and MSBA. We look forward to seeing you!

Throughout the year, UVA Darden provides prospective students with the opportunity to observe Executive MBA and Part-Time MBA classes. Class visits are a great way to experience the case method firsthand and to get to know Darden students, faculty and staff. Due to limited space, we kindly ask that you only register to attend only one class. During your class visit, you will have the opportunity to join the students for a light meal followed by a class observation.

Join UCLA Anderson School of Management, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Columbia Business School, University of Virginia Darden School of Business, MIT Sloan School of Management, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to learn about their MBA programs and the experience of students in business school and beyond. The event will feature a panel discussion with admissions staff from each school followed by a networking reception with representatives from all of the schools. This event is in-person only. 

What does the "Darden Journey" actually look like from a student perspective? Join current Part-Time MBA and Executive MBA students for an open dialogue as they reflect on and share their unique paths to Darden. No two stories are the same as students share why they decided to pursue an MBA, what attracted them to Darden, who was part of their support system and more. Gain insight and advice from those who have been through the process of prospective applicant to current student, including those who travel from outside of the D.C. Metro area to attend our program.

The event will feature a moderated conversation with admissions representatives from top business schools, followed by a chance to network with each participating university.

Join members of Darden’s Graduate Women in Business (GWIB) chapter for an informal question and answer session. Learn more about the case method style of learning and how to determine if Darden is your best fit. All prospective & admitted students are welcome to attend.

Attending a Day With Darden Open House provides an opportunity for prospective students to experience Darden's distinctive case method approach, tour the Darden Grounds, and connect with current students. While we do not currently schedule interviews during these events, attendees will be able to engage with our Admissions Committee in a panel discussion about the Darden application process.? Attending this event qualifies you for an application fee waiver.

During this session, Managing Director of Admissions Brett Twitty will share five key details about Darden's Part-Time MBA program. Topics will include: Part-Time MBA 2027 class profile, navigating the Part-Time MBA application process, program structure and design, academics overview and career resources for Part-Time MBA students.
