About Darden - Events Calendar

Experience a Day With Darden through immersive on-Grounds programming that offers a preview of student life, classes and community. Attendees can expect to spend time with current students, take a tour of Grounds, join in admissions and career conversations, participate in a financial aid session or presentation and enjoy social activities and meals with the Darden community. The August event features a Mock Case, in which attendees will participate in a case discussion led specifically for prospective students. Faculty will provide context and guidance, making it an interactive introduction to the case method.

Join Darden Admissions and Professor Tracey Hoke for a faculty thought leadership webinar series for prospective and admitted Darden students. Dr. Hoke is trained as a Pediatrician and Pediatric Cardiologist, and she joined the University of Virginia in 2006 as the Chief Quality Officer for the UVA Children’s Hospital. She currently serves as the inaugrual Chair, Innovation in Healthcare Operations, for the UVA Health System. At Darden, she teaches two courses — Challenges in Healthcare and Solutions in Healthcare. During this session, Dr. Hoke will share her thoughts on the current state of healthcare in the U.S., the healthcare and biotech ecosystem in Charlottesville, her healthcare-focused electives and more.
