Senior Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs and Student Engagement

Sarah ElliottSarah L. W. Elliott serves the Darden School as the Sr. Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Engagement, directly overseeing the Center for Global Initiatives, Office of the Registrar, and Office of Student Affairs. Sarah provides academic advising to residential format MBA students, refines and communicates policy across the program, coordinates crisis management, and oversees the student and service awards process. 

Sarah came to Darden in 2009; prior to this position, Sarah was an Assistant Dean in UVA's Office of the Dean of Students, working with Asian/APA/ANHPI populations, coaching student leaders, and serving on the Dean on call emergency rotation.

As a Student Affairs professional, she has also worked in diversity programming and residence life at the College of William and Mary and Northern Arizona University. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Missouri and her Masters in Higher & Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University.
